PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

DAN ZINGE, a 25 year veteran of the fire service, is a District Chief for Palm Harbor (FL) Fire Rescue. He has a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management - Public Safety from Eckerd College. He is a contributing member of a world renowned vehicle rescue/extrication team with numerous National and International Awards.

"Through my work experience as a firefighter, paramedic and chief officer for over twenty-five years and my involvement with a world renowned vehicle rescue/extrication team, I possess unique skills that qualify me to be the President & Chief Officer (CEO) of NAVRA and to provide specialized vehicle rescue training to a wide variety of people. I have had a long-term desire to be involved in a business that will utilize this knowledge to help other rescuers. Over the years, I have developed many great network associates from all around the world. Combining the resources of these associates, with my passion to teach, I can demonstrate competency in all aspects of vehicle rescue management."

VICE PRESIDENT OF TRAINING AND SAFETY

TOM WINKLER, a 23-year veteran of the fire service, is a  Lieutenant with the Seminole (FL) Fire Rescue. He has an Associate of Arts Degree from Pasco Hernando Community College. He is a former training officer for the Pinellas County Technical Rescue Team and a member of the City of Seminole Extrication Team.

 "As an experienced EMT and Fire Company Officer and as an accomplished technical and vehicular rescue specialist, I possess the necessary skills that are required of NAVRA’s Executive Training Officer.   Drawing from twenty-two years of fire rescue experience and proficient instructional and emergency scene management skills, I intend to share my enthusiasm for successful vehicular rescue management techniques with students across North America."

VICE PRESIDENT OF MEDIA DEVELOPMENT

LES BAKER, a 12-year veteran of the fire service, is an Assistant Engineer with the City of Charleston (SC) Fire Department and a volunteer for Darlington County (SC) Fire District. He has an Associate of Fire Science Degree from Pikes Peak Community College. He is an adjunct instructor with the South Carolina Fire Academy and a member of the Darlington County Extrication Team.

"My passion for vehicle extrication has taken me throughout North America conducting training, competing in national and international competitions, and researching extrication related products. Recently it led to the development of a website dedicated to furthering the skills and knowledge of emergency personnel that respond to vehicle collisions. I share a common goal with NAVRA to establish a national standard for all aspects of vehicle rescue."
